What is the Wet switch installation step :
1. Turn off the power supply to the HVAC system.
2. Locate the drain line of the HVAC system and identify the best location to install the wet switch. This is typically near the air handler or furnace.
3. Use a drill to create a hole in the drain line where the wet switch will be installed. Make sure the hole is large enough to accommodate the switch.
4. Insert the wet switch into the hole and secure it in place using the provided screws or adhesive.
5. Connect the wires of the wet switch to the HVAC system's control board. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for wiring.
6. Turn the power supply back on and test the wet switch to ensure it is functioning properly. Pour a small amount of water into the drain line to trigger the switch and verify that it shuts off the HVAC system.
7. Once the wet switch is installed and functioning correctly, cover the hole in the drain line with a waterproof sealant to prevent any leaks.
